Alarmed peonies convened with some threatened dahlias today. They are concerned about the weeds; who, adorned with bright colors and lush green leaves; attempt to fool the gardener. These weeds are clever in their disguise. It is easy to mistake them, but something is amiss. This deception has tragic consequences. Unfortunate circumstances occur when they play pretend. The weeds have already choked the orchids, who no longer bloom as bright and strong. And the gardener has noticed the hummingbirds have disappeared. Now the garden fears the silence. Rebecca Brooks
