Windham Crash Sends Pickup Careening Through Commercial Building

A Windham crash sent a pickup truck careening through an empty commercial building on Wednesday after a driver allegedly failed to stop at a stoplight.

At approximately 12:51 p.m., a Chevrolet Silverado operated by Lisa Wing, 25, of Naples, and a Toyota Tundra operated by Brandon Robbins, 38, of New Gloucester collided, resulting in injuries and prompting a police response.

Police did not know the extent of the injuries at the time of the press release but did not believe them to be life-threatening.

Preliminary investigation suggests that one of the vehicles failed to stop for a red light, causing the collission.

As a result of the crash, the Silverado struck a commercial building at 230 Roosevelt Trail.

There is no business located at the address, and it seems that the building was not occupied at the time of the crash.

Police did not specify which driver they believe was responsible for the incident.

The crash remains under investigation, and the Windham Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
