‘Psycho’ Platner recruiter Dan Moraff may be a Valley Girl in drag.
The strange-talking socialist political operative under fire for failing to properly vet Graham Platner was himself once blocked from a congressional campaign for alleged sexual harassment.
U.S. Rep. Summer Lee, D-PA, barred Dan Moraff from her 2022 congressional campaign after receiving at least three complaints of sexual misconduct against him, according to a story Friday in Payday Report.
“Now, Moraff, who recruited Graham Platner to run for Senate in Maine, is at the center of a massive controversy after he admitted that he spent only a few days vetting Platner, who just withdrew from the Senate race after he was accused of rape,” Payday founder Mike Elk says.
Given the fact that Lee stopped working with Moraff following his own alleged misogyny, “questions have been raised about why so many on the left trusted him to give a thorough vetting and assessment of Platner,” the outlet says.
Platner was recruited to run for Senate by Moraff and Leanne Fan, who determined that another prospective candidate, a BIW union chief, had “a skeleton in the closet.”
The duo recently told The Wall Street Journal they paid “a whole chunk of money” to vet Platner but managed to turn up none of his off-the-wall musings, including the Nazi tattoo and his strange Reddit posts.
Moraff, meanwhile, is taking flack for the, like, totally weird way he talks.
Edward Luce, associate editor at the Financial Times, recently did an entire X post about Moraff’s effeminate way of speaking.
Luce calls it a “combo of vocal fry and valley girl inflection” that “is comically distracting.”
“Feel there should be a national conversation about this?” Luce asked.
Say no more!
Like, are guys who, like, talk like Moraff more inclined to f*** things up?
Moraff’s dialect is, like, too rich to, like, miss. Sample it here, thanks to Washington Free Beacon.
“Can someone please tell me the name of his speech impediment?” asked @MaineLogic.
“Very strange, it’s as if he’s singing each sentence & his voice breaks at the end of each line,” said @Chaleck. “It’s also a pleading & a mocking voice at the same time. It’s the voice of a psycho.”
“Prog femi-talk with vocal fry and up talking,” suggested @Sixtolezcano. “He aspires to the alpha females around him.”
Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” is also sharing a clip of The Wall Street Journal’s Aaron Zitner interviewing the strange Moraff, who Rubin calls an “idiot.”
