U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will travel to Maine this Saturday to hold rallies in Portland and Bangor “to organize and energize working class voters around an aggressive progressive agenda.”

Sen. Sanders, a two-time candidate for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in 2016 and 2020, will speak at the State Theatre in Portland at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The 82-year-old senior Senator from Vermont will then travel to Bangor for a rally at the Cross Insurance Center, where doors open at 3 p.m.

In a Monday appearance on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, Sanders said he “believe[s] Kamala Harris is going to be next president.”

“[Harris] has a chance to win this election big, if we can focus on the serious problems facing working families all over this country,” Sanders said, though he did not make an official endorsement of the vice president for the Democratic nomination.

The progressive Senator also criticized the “corporate media” for their “attacks against the president, President Bident,” and for “forcing him to leave the campaign.”

“Kamala Harris is going to be the candidate, and I will do everything I can to make sure that Trump is defeated and that she is elected,” Sanders told Cooper on Monday.

Tickets are not required for either of Sanders’ Maine events this weekend, though RSVPs are encouraged for admission.
