If any single issue should be able to generate consensus among a polarized electorate, it’s control of America’s southern border. No thoughtful person can deny the worsening effects on our country from hordes of unvetted newcomers randomly invading unprepared communities large and small. This is not a border war between embattled neighbors. It’s an internal conflict between current national government policy and state and local government responsibility for citizen safety and well-being. Law abidance seems to have very different meaning between Washington and countless random destination neighborhoods faced with migrant dependency. Such blatant disparity defies logic. This phenomenon is not accidental. It’s an organized effort to create Disunited States to undermine the world’s leading example of a democratic constitutional nation that is stable, innovative, productive, philanthropic and perpetuating. Is the voting public ready to throw in the towel after 246 years?
