Post World War II America was the most successful and powerful country in the history of the world. In less than 200 years we had become the universally respected leader of the free world, to all a shining beacon of hope and freedom. Many would say we are no longer that beacon. What changed and when did we peak? One possibility is we peaked at the end of the Apollo missions. The world cheered and prayed for our success. Although others may choose a different point, the early 1970’s was a time of greatness, albeit with war and prejudice. How did our country turn away from our Founding Fathers dream, Christian values, work ethic, desire for success, love of family, and love and pride in our country?
Most people know the Biblical four horsemen of the apocalypse: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death, the four major plagues of humankind. I would like to introduce the four horsemen of the 19th and 20th century; Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, Charles Darwin, and Benjamin Spock. The commonality is that none were religious. Their anti-religious philosophy ranged from Marx, who described religion as the opium of the masses, Freud, who considered belief in God as a mythic reproduction of the universal state of infantile helplessness, Darwin, who described himself as an agnostic, and Spock, who could be described as ambivalent. All were leftist.
They shaped the country by attacking the Church, the family, the institutions, and an individual’s moral character, that is, self-esteem, self-discipline, and self-reliance. Spock ushered in an era of indulgence to the child – a world where challenges and stress were to be avoided, expectations lowered, and failure eliminated. In 1848, Marx introduced the Communist Manifesto which turned the idea of the sacred worth of the individual upside down as the individual surrendered their value to the collective. The collective, not God, determined a man’s worth. At the extreme, this means culling of those who are considered undesirable, including infanticide, geronticide, and genocide. Darwin took on the Church with evolution rather than creation. The 1925 Scops Monkey Trial pitted “science” against God and “science” won. It was the start of a slippery slope that eventually eradicated Christianity from the classroom and cracked the foundation our country was built on. Freud attacked morality again with “science,” essentially, “if it feels good – do it.” He claimed it was good for mental health, and with God out of the picture, who was arguing? Marriage, children, and a commitment to family were no longer needed.
Our modern horseman’s legacy is in a shambles. Darwin’s, Origin of the Species, written in 1859, is still looking for the missing link. The theory has been dealt a serious blow by the discovery of the incredible complexity of DNA and a greater understanding of chemistry. “Scientists” now believe the earth has not existed long enough for a random process. They are now advancing a theory that life must have been seeded on earth by a meteorite or by another process (anything but God). The new Webb telescope is now looking back 13.5 billion years, near the time of the “Big Bang”. They expected to see disorder before the galaxies were formed. What they found were orderly systems much like what we see today. It looks like Genesis 1.1. The ACLU might not prevail today in a new “Monkey Trial”. The idea of life coming to earth from space adds new improbabilities to an almost impossible process. As to Spock, later in life after seeing the results of following his theory, recognized the damage he had done. Unfortunately, the Spock process continues even now as part of our government and laws. Marxists are still looking for a post revolution Utopia. As for Fraud, the Oedipus complex and penis envy has fallen out of style, and the promised sexual Utopia, like Marx’s Utopia, has failed to materialize.
We are now looking at the cumulation of their work. Marxism has cost millions their freedom, their happiness, and, in many cases, their lives. A loss of respect of the Church has cost this country the foundation on which it was built. Families are broken. Schools are indoctrination centers. The government is mandating adults comply with teenagers’ demands under color of law. Spock’s proteges believe they are fixing nature’s mistakes.
How do we fix this? It will not happen without a struggle. This upside-down Marxist revolution is a consolidation of power by the elites. They are asking the proletariat (working class) to submit to them and surrender their rights and become a serf in their new feudal order. Our political elites, our billionaire capitalists, our compliant and corrupt media, our heads of industry, heads of trade unions and those feeding at the trough of money and power will fight back. Of our three branches of government, only the Supreme Court is resisting. Without them there is no one to defend the Constitution and there is no political path to recovery. We have the plan; it is our Constitution and Judeo-Christian values. Like a classic revolution, it will come from the bottom and will be driven by people’s self-interest. It will start in kitchens, bars, meeting houses, churches, and schools. But first we must become aware.
