The Auburn Police Department’s Proactive Community Enforcement (PACE) Unit this week executed a search warrant at a Seventh Street residence, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of over 20 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Police say the operation followed an investigation into drug activities at the home.
During a search of the residence Thursday morning, police seized approximately 24 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Authorities arrested 41-year old Jeffrey Bartos and 37-year old Miranda Loggans, who were both transported to the Androscoggin County Jail.
Bartos faces three counts of Class A aggravated trafficking of schedule drugs, three counts of Class C unlawful possession of schedule drugs, and one count of violation of conditions of release.
Police say the latter charge stems from active bail conditions related to a prior animal cruelty case. Because of this, Bartos is currently being held without bail pending a court appearance.
Loggans was charged with three counts of Class A aggravated trafficking of schedule drugs and three counts of Class C unlawful possession of schedule drugs. Her bail was set at $10,000 cash.
