DOGE Probe Exposes Devaluation of American Citizenship Benefits
The DOGE investigation in progress is revealing how devalued the concept of American citizenship has become. Over the past four years, about 4-million foreigners admitted to the United States as residents became gratuitous participating beneficiaries of established Social Security and Medicare programs. Such scandalous exploitation of financial assistance ostensibly reserved for our citizenry is an outrageous breach of government fiduciary responsibility by the previous federal administration.
We cannot allow “government of the people, by the people, and for the people” to be subverted in this manner. It is no wonder that the overdue decision to commission a federal audit is uncovering clear evidence of bad faith (some would say “treason”) in the management of benefits reserved for residents legally committed to personal support of our way of life. Efforts by supposedly responsible officials to dismiss this concern as trivial in the grand scheme of things shamefully weaken the spiritual and economic underpinnings of American democracy. DOGE can also be an acronym for ‘Denial Of Government Expense’ or ‘Definitely Outside Gratuitous Eligibility’.
