He is currently being held at the Cumberland County Jail on an federal immigration hold by ICE.

ICE’s inmate locator shows that Cajilema is an Ecuadorian national.

The Maine Wire has reached out to a Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson for additional details regarding Cajilema’s arrest, including whether or not he had a valid Maine driver’s license and if the vehicle he was operating was registered under his name.

In April 2024, an illegal alien caused a fatal car crash on I-95 in April, leaving an Albion woman dead and her husband in critical condition.

According to the Maine State Police crash report, finalized in late September 2024, the illegal alien, 23-year-old Oguzhan Cildir was speeding and driving recklessly at the time of the crash. The report also indicated that Cildir had an active Class C Massachusetts commercial driver’s license.
