Trump Taps Three Conservative Actors to Serve as Envoy’s to Hollywood to Help Rebuild the Entertainment Industry

President-elect Donald Trump tapped three actors on Thursday to serve as his special ambassadors to Hollywood, California, to help advise him in his plan to bring the American entertainment industry back to its pre-Biden Administration success.

“It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone, to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California,” said Trump on Truth Social.

“They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest,” he added.

President Trump promised to bring about a new “Golden Age of Hollywood,” along with his promise to usher in a new era of prosperity for the entire nation.

The three ambassadors, famous actors Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, and Sylvester Stallone, will be the president’s “eyes and ears” in Hollywood and will advise him on what the executive branch could do to improve the nation’s entertainment industry.

All three actors publicly expressed their support for Trump during the 2024 election, risking ostracism from their largely liberal industry to support the candidate they believed would better lead the nation.

Hollywood revenue declined sharply during the COVID pandemic lockdowns and never recovered to pre-pandemic levels, bringing in 23.5% less revenue in 2024 than in 2019 and dropping even further from 2023 to 2024.
