America’s Shift: Blue to Red Migration Reflects Deepening Divisions
America is Evolving
In an increasingly evident sense, America no longer is functioning as the originally envisioned United States. People and companies are relocating from blue states to red and vice versa, based on observed governance, economic conditions, and personal lifestyle fulfillment.
Overriding legislative guidance and regulation from Washington has created political divisions demanding attention in a larger, more diverse nation. Is another world military conflict needed to restore consciousness of the original precept of national unity with protection against autocracy by authorizing closer-to-home government at the state and local levels? That design was to enable consistent public awareness and participation as desired at all levels of dependency and potential involvement.
The challenging problem with democracy is its subjectivity to periodic reassessment of the governors by the governed. Election outcomes are not intended to be viewed as political party victories, but to reflect informed constituent sentiment at all three levels. The losing side is periodically reminded of unappealing elements of its principles, policies and practices. Necessary adjustments reflect the public desire to reconcile its overriding interests with those of the governing bodies.
