New Study Suggests that the COVID Response and Vaccines Led to an Increase in Excess Deaths Worldwide

A new study from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam suggests that government responses to COVID-19 and the mRNA injections marketed as vaccines may have increased the number of excess deaths worldwide since 2020.

“During the pandemic, it was emphasised by politicians and the media on a daily basis that every Covid-19 death mattered and every life deserved protection through containment measures and Covid-19 vaccines. In the aftermath of the pandemic, the same moral should apply,” said the researchers.

The study found that in 2020, 1,033,122 excess deaths were recorded across 47 Western countries, including Europe, the U.S., and Australia.

In 2021, after many of the supposedly life-saving measures were implemented and the vaccines rolled out, that number rose to 1,256,942, in 2022 the number remained high, although it decreased to 808,392.

Those deaths do not reflect the number of people who died of COVID or while testing positive for COVID, but they include deaths which resulted from lockdown policies and vaccine injuries.

The Amsterdam study cited other studies and reports from doctors which confirmed the belief, condemned by mainstream media, governments, and pharmaceutical companies, that the COVID vaccines could cause permanent health problems or even death.

Some of the catastrophic side effects cited by the study include myocarditis, blood clots, and brain hemorrhaging.

“Numerous studies reported that COVID-19 vaccination may induce myocarditis,
pericarditis and autoimmune diseases. Postmortem examinations have also ascribed myocarditis, encephalitis, immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia, intracranial haemorrhage and diffuse thrombosis to COVID-19 vaccinations,” said the researchers.

“Batch-dependent heterogeneity in the toxicity of mRNA vaccines was found in Denmark. Simultaneous onset of excess mortality and COVID-19 vaccination in Germany provides a safety signal warranting further investigation,” they added later, furthering arguments that COVID vaccines are not as safe as public health officials originally claimed.

The researchers also found that mRNA COVID vaccines posed a significantly higher risk of injury or death than common flu vaccines.

Researchers cited a study which showed that a significant number of adverse effects from vaccines went unreported.

The study concluded that the socioeconomic conditions imposed by lockdowns, as well as a lack of access to non-COVID related medical care, impacted the elevated death numbers.

During the lockdowns, deaths from heart disease, Diabetes, and Alzheimer’s rose alongside an increase in deaths from alcohol and drug abuse, suggesting a lack of access to medical care, and an increase in despair leading to more drug use.

The study concluded that more attention ought to be paid to the causes of the increase in excess deaths, and that governments should scrutinize the reasons that excess deaths rose despite, and perhaps because of, containment measures.

Maine Electric Rates: Legislative Failures and Consumer Burden

About a year ago The Maine Anchor published an interview with Jim LaBrecque who gave a history of why Maine has such high electric rates. The question is, did the 131st, Democratically controlled legislature do anything for the people of Maine, or did they represent special interest groups with their hand in your pocket?
