From Stability to Strife: A Nation Transformed by Newcomers

by Phil Osifer | May 1, 2024

Just as it’s possible for a few clandestinely manipulated votes to decide a close election, so too can a horde of unvetted and unruly immigrants alter the orderly functioning of an established form of government. Nearly 10-million United States “newcomers” invited by severely relaxed federal immigration policy are visibly transforming a formerly stable and welcoming democratic society into a fearful state of resistance and hostility. American citizens are prompted to review the definition of ‘treason’ as their traditional form of government is challenged from within by unprecedented executive orders in lieu of representative Congressional oversight and legislative validation. The angry, vengeful, marginally empowered mob in Washington hastily pursues an undemocratic agenda before time expires on its four-year term in authority. It will leave no better showcase than the degraded capitol city itself, riddled with conflict, crime and corruption. The current turmoil calls for prompt course correction and restoration of Congressional civility and authority, not another revolution. A daunting menu of socio-economic challenges commanding attention of all thinking Americans should enable degrading internal hostility to be channeled more productively. “The enemy is us.” Phil Osifer
