Unveiling the Fragility of Our Nation: Can Unity Prevail in Turbulent Times?
This is a dangerous time for our country. While the dominant political parties conduct their usual election-year policy posturing and personal campaign attacks, public awareness of growing fragility of our 50-state union may be breeding greater underlying consensus as to the risks of factionalizing America’s democratic heritage. Can emerging evidence of foreign-sponsored financing, infiltration and organized interference ultimately have a “DEI “bonding effect” for a clear majority of the populace?
Will this situation be a national wake-up call and motivational influence not seen since the international conflict of the 1940s? Are currently observed events the precursor of a “World War 3“characterized by alien cyber-attacks and rebellious ground-level domestic uprisings against a backdrop of threatened dictatorial nuclear devastation? We are reminded of the oft-repeated phrase “All that is needed for the forces of evil to prevail in this world is for enough good men (sic) to do nothing.” This is not a call for military action, but for popular realization that currently divisive political posturing is not a promising solution for evolving circumstances.

Empires crumble. Several years ago I read that the average age throughout history for an empire is 250 years. Looks like the US is right on schedule.
